This is short message we had repeatedly received before a couple of days of the program was decided to organize by the office holders of Gandhara Hindko Board, Peshawar Pakistan.
Naat competition amongst the kids and children of different categories of age and gender is being soon held, and I wish that you should also recite the holy Naat on that occasion, I advised to my grand daughter Qindeel Fatima of about 8 years and also to her mother Sadia Shahbaz to make her prepare for participation.
Ziaud deen Siddiqi is an authentic person, holding the office of General Secretary asked me, on phone to attend the function along with Shahsaz, my son for photography with other members of my family to get honor to attend that spiritual and sacred function being celebrated as an Islamic festival of Eid Milad un Nabi, Sallalah O Wasalam.
It is my pleasure, I would like to attend, I replied and reached there on next day along with companions of my family and belongings, such as camera and attachments with it. We reached entered the secured building of Khana e Farhang e Iran, on our motor bikes. We felt tough time for the staff on security on the reception of the main gate of the building. They were reading the faces and also body language of the people crossing barriers to enter the building.
A big number of ladies and gents were there, waiting to start the contest. Many were standing in the lawn to enjoy and absorb the heat energy gifting the Sun rays in such a cool weather of January 2012.
We entered in the Imam Khumeni auditorium, on request of Sikandar Hayat a hard working chief organizer of the function. The hall was beautifully decorated. Wall to wall carpet both on stage and place of seating was was saying welcome the guests and participants to sit there. We sat with a big happy crowd, on the neat and clean colorful woolen carpeted floor of the hall.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim, Starting with the name of Allah Rahman O Rahim. Voice of General Secretary of Gandhar Hindko Board, speaking in flat Hindko language, on the mike. Start of his welcome address diverted the attention of the people in the hall.
We wish warm welcome to our respectable guests of the house. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is our fourth annual function of Eid Miladun Nabi Salalaho Alaihai Wasalam, we are going to celebrate here in the form a contest of Hindko Naa’t, among the children of different age groups and gender categories.
A Panel of Judges
He announced and called the VIPs in the hall to sit on stage. He requested Agha Syed Iqbal Hussain Shah Bukhari to preside over the contest and announced Agha Syed Asad Ali Shah Bukhari participating as chief guest of the function. Shehzad Majeed, Arbab Zafarullah and Saeed Paras, were announced as judges to decide the first second and third position holders from each and every group and category of young participants of the contest.
There were four categories in the past, but we enhanced it this year and increased a fifth one also of senior Naa’t Reciters, participating in the contest, announced the General Secretary.
The name of Sardar Muhmmad Niaz Niazi, He announced the name of compere of the session and handed over him the mike of the speakers, before climbing down the stage.
The Contest started with the recitation from the verses of Holy Quraan, after welcome and introductory address of General Secretary. The Category vise participation of the contest was as per detail given in below:
