Bazme-e-Bahar-e-Adab, (Rgd) Peshawar, was founded in March 1980, at Peshawar by Naz Sethi, the renowned poet and prose writer of Urdu, Hindko and Persian languages.
Aims & Object
Following were the aims and objects, framed at initial stage of BBA.
- To encourage the new poets if they participate the literary functions of BBA
- To create the Literature, useful for life.
- No restriction for medium of speaking and writing was aimed to appy. Every one can produce literary work in any language such as Urdu, Pashto, Hindko, Persian and other.
- To organize and celebrate the special events relating to the heritage and literary culture of our National and Regional concerns.
- To organize the monthly Mehfil-e-Mushaeras, the poetry reciting gatherings also an annual All Pakistan Special Mehfil-e-Mushaeras.
- To publish the poetry work of members of BBA.
- To organize the evening of recognition of the prominent fellows and followers of BBB.
- Giving priority to the female group of writers and poets of Bazm-e-Bahar-e-Adab.
Silver Jubilee of this literary organism was celebrated in March 2005, just after completion of a successful journey of 25 years services of literary culture in Peshawar, the busiest town of the province.
